Serendipity Farm & Vine is one of Stilwell's newest vineyards, tasting room, and event spaces.  Located just west of State Line Road in Stilwell, Kansas, we are excited to share our small slice of heaven with you. 


WHO

Serendipity is family friendly every day from open to 5 pm. From 5 pm to close, they are only open for those 21 and over.


WHEN

Tasting Room hours are open seating. Please call ahead for groups of 8+, to preorder food, and reserve Stable Rooms. Now open for coffee at 9 AM Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Visit us for wine after 11 AM Thursday-Sunday!

Bourgmont Winery

Bourgmont Winery is a tasting room and venue in South Johnson County. Their wine is locally planted and sourced. They aim to create the perfect atmosphere for you, whether it is for an afternoon of wine tasting, a wedding, or a private function. Regardless of the reason or the season, visit the estate!


WHO

No reservation is required for the Tasting Room, unless groups are karger than 10 people. Animals are allowed, but must be kept outside on a leash.

Aubry Vineyards

The year 2010 marked the acquisition of approximately 200 acres in Stilwell, Kansas, right near the state line. Much of the land was and still is being used by crop and livestock farmers. On the way back from a trip to Napa, a local Johnson County family realized the land could also be used to grow grapes and produce wine.  In 2012, vines were planted and grapes began to grow, establishing Aubrey Vineyards as the first winery in Stilwell. 


WHO

Open seating is available in The Vineyard Tasting Room and the adjacent Red Barn Patio.  Walk-ins welcome for parties of 5 or fewer.  Reservations are not available for parties of 5 or fewer.

Stilwell Community Park

Stilwell Community Park is a 55-acre park and features Johnson County's first inclusive playground, which enables everyone to play together without physical or social barriers. The park also features a one-mile looping paved trail. The trail crosses over Camp Branch Creek and traverses a wetland, grassland, and riparian woodland. The trail will ultimately serve as the southern access point to the future Camp Branch Streamway Trail.


WHO

The park was developed through a unique partnership between Johnson County Parks and Recreation Department and the Stilwell Community Organization. JCPRD funded the acquisition and first phase development of the park, and the community organization launched a capital campaign to fund future improvements.

FEATURES

Stilwell Community Park has one shelter with restrooms. Shelters are perfect for parties, family reunions, corporate events, and weddings! To ensure the use of a shelter, reservations are recommended. Visit the reservation and rentals page for JCPRD.

Camp Branch Glade Park

Camp Branch Glade is one of the only sites in the county with a wealth of Prickly Pear Cactus and numerous limestone features.  The park contains a sinkhole, a large exposed limestone ridge, and numerous large boulders along a small intermittent stream that flows into Camp Branch Creek and then into the Blue River. 
 

WHO

The primary feature of the park is a nature trail for hiking and equestrian use that is surfaced with wood mulch and earthen materials.

The park has 1.5 miles of unpaved nature trails (closed to motorized vehicles), 3 picnic tables on concrete pads with charcoal grills (1 ADA accessible), Drinking fountain (April 15 - October 15), Portable restroom, Paved parking lot, Loop drive and gravel parking area for equestrian trailers, and Hitching posts.

Stilwell Farmers Market
BOOK TOUR

You'll find a wide variety of vegetables and fruits including tomato, pepper, cucumber, zuccini, squash, herbs, cantaloupe and watermelon. Honey made by bees right here in Stilwell. Organic sourdough baked just around the corner. Sweet corn raised by farmers just down the road. And some of the most delicious desserts, breads and pastries baked fresh every Tuesday. Wash it all down with good old fashioned lemonade made some of our youngest entrepreneurs.


WHO

The Stilwell Farmers Market is organized by The Blue River Wranglers 4-H Club.  All proceeds from the market support the club's educational opportunities throughout the year.  Everyone is welcome!

The market runs mid-June thru mid-September from 5:30-7pm every Tuesday.
